Enroll in the Wastewater Treatment and Wastewater Collection Course, set to begin in February 2016 in Hancock County.
This 16-week, two nights per week course trains students in safety procedures, material safety data sheet training and other basics related to wastewater treatment and collection to prepare for a state certification exam. Financial assistance may be available.
Wastewater treatment and collection is an in-demand profession with opportunities for advancement and good starting wages, and is the ideal career for those who are proficient in high-school level math and are willing to relocate.
