FREMONT, Ohio — The Mechatronics program and Industrial Machine Trades program—two fast-track skilled trades courses—will begin this October at Terra State Community College.
The programs begin Oct. 18. Each offers coursework, paid on-the-job training and internships, and career pathways to in-demand skilled trades careers.
The Mechatronics program teaches skills in robotics, programmable logic controls, and other necessary coursework for careers in maintenance in advanced manufacturing industries. The Industrial Machine Trades program teaches computer aided drafting (CAD) and other skills for careers in machining trades.
Along with paid internships and on-the-job training, courses offer career coaching, job placement and other services through WSOS Community Action Commission to help students succeed.
